The story behind Pinti

Almost twenty years working in tech teach you a lot. They teach you to build products, understand markets, iterate fast, and listen to users.

But it was my youngest daughter who taught me what it really means to connect with a user.

I was at home, working remotely, juggling multiple projects, studying artificial intelligence through a new app. She watched me work every day. Games, financial products, tech experiments. And one ordinary day, in the middle of all that, she turned to me and asked:

“Why have you never made an app for me?”

She just looked at me. And I thought: she's right. Why hadn't I?

I closed my laptop and said, “Let’s make one.”

What happened next was better than any project I'd ever built. She wasn't just the inspiration — she was the researcher, the tester, the most honest critic I've ever had. She gave ideas, complained about what didn't work, celebrated what did. We built it together, and along the way I realized I was teaching her about my work while she was teaching me about hers: playing, learning, creating.

One app turned into two. I didn't want this game to end.

That's how Pinti was born — from a father who stopped everything to listen to the most important user of his life. My daughter loved it, and she's incredibly proud of what we built together. I hope your kids enjoy it as much as she does.

This project is hers too
